Ben and others, I had the frustration of working just north of DX today, I could hear engines but wasn’t able to look out of the window, great sound, great temptation and incredibly frustrating….

Lanc airtest as per schedule this morning. A couple of minor snags which hopefully have been sorted. Flying again tomorrow morning and poss Friday (weather permitting). Saw PS915 arrive at Coningsby, cracking new paint scheme, followed closely by a superb pass by one of the Chipmunks and then a pass by the Dak. Busy afternoon!!!!

PS915 off back to Coningsby

PS915 took off at just before 2pm, and is flying back to Coningsby with the BBMF Dakota as I type this.

She certainly looked good as she flew round the back of my house – just didn’t have the camera ready 🙁

Ben.

Living where I do, and not being able to go too far too often due to being my wife’s at home carer, I don’t get to see the old girl too often, but My God, when I do, it moves me to the bone. 😀

Hope all goes well today and the weather is ok, it is a cracking start to the day down here of the north essex coast.
Cheers for now,

Practice displays will start the day after the air test if she is serviceable, approval for the display season is about the 26th April hope this helps.

Latest info PS915 completed her air test today at Duxford and should return to Coningsby tomorrow about 14:30 ish.

Her new scheme represents PS888 81 Sqn 1954, Far East,
Pr Blue/Medium sea grey, no doubt pictures will appear here soon.

Thanks for those replies, some people want to know this info. If you don’t then just ignore it or the info will become less forthcoming!!
