One of the guys was dissapointed with Fluffy’s thread on guess the colour of the Spitfire as he was wanting to see how the Lanc was progressing with her major service.
Well think this may be of interest. BBC Midlands Today featured a short report on how the work is progressing. Can you believe how dif she looks without paint on. Very very shiney.

Some photographs I took last month of 474. She is now back together at the transport joint after fitting the control rods. The engine subframes have been removed for NDT inspection.
