Paams vs Aegis

I am interested in the differences in aegis and paams radars.
The pros and cons of the systems.
Or is it that the euro countries just didnt want us hardware???
And the Chinese CHINESE LANZHOU (TYPE 52C) CLASS DDG is
a separate system again.
