I just found the following promotional clip for a proposed flight to Australia by “Liberty Belle”, in tribute to the 435th Kangaroo Squadron, USAAF, who were based in Aus. The video was posted in Nov 2007, and states Dec 2008 as the target date for departure. I can’t find anything about it on the Liberty Foundation website, or anywhere else for that matter. Does anyone have any further details?
