A 34-year-old passenger has been arrested at Perth Airport for allegedly threatening aircrew on a flight from Mauritius.
The Irish man was on an Air Mauritius flight to Perth last night when he became involved in an angry argument with crew and passengers
The man verbally threatened crew members and clenched his fists at them at least twice.
As crew members and passengers tried to hold him down, the man allegedly bit a passenger.
The AFP Counter Terrorism unit was alerted to the incident and arrested the man on arrival.
He has been charged with threatening an aircrew and was granted bail this morning to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on March 27.
