Interesting enough topic in its own right that developed in the FC-1 thread. The F-6, the Q-5, the F-7P and the F-7PG were all supplied by China which the PAF had converted western avionics.
The FC-1 will probably be no different.
Pakistan is licensed to build the Grifo advanced and other western equipment denied to China.

the f-7s Pakistan got from China had very poor avionics..only 15 km range, but I’m sure China must be producing good avionics by now, the thing is Pakistan has more access to western stuff compared to China. China basically depends upon Russians for high tech avionics.
Pakistan is already producing Grifo Radars for their latest F7s…and they’ve got ToT for it, not just assembling. The Countries Best Universities have started aerodynamic and avionics studies during last few years…bit late but never too late.
