Fighter plane crashes, pilot killed: PAF spokesman ISLAMABAD, July 19: A Pakistani pilot died when his fighter plane crashed near Kamra, 50 miles (80 km) west of the capital of Islamabad, a Pakistan Air Force spokesman said today. He said the F-7/P fighter plane crashed near Kamra air base during a routine flight. “I can confirm that the plane has crashed and its pilot Air Commodore Hameed Qadri has been killed,” the spokesman said, adding that the plane was on a routine training mission.
