This is Emhar’s 1/35th scale Whippet tank of World War One. The figure is also one of Emhar’s and is the first figure I’ve had a really serious go at painting.

The kit is finished using a Premiair G35 Airbrush and the techniques of pre and post shading, filters, washes and the use of MIG Productions pigments, all in all, somewhere in the region of ten applications of paint and filters etc. The groundwork is just household filler shaped, then left to dry before adding brick dust and stones over a thinned wash of PVA glue. The whole was then airbrushed in various earth tones before the final additions of PVA and stones/dust to make the tank blend into the groundwork.

The figure is a real challenge for me but it hasn’t come out too badly for a first serious attempt.

Thanks for the kind comments, it was a really enjoyable project and I must admit to taking a certain amount of pride in the finished result.

Thanks again.
