Hi Guys, I went to pick up my painting and the others are available for sale, the Lady selling her late Fathers work would be interested in them being identified and also they are at the moment available, I have tried to identify a few and this is as far as I have got so some help would be appreciated, bar the one marked they are all originals, some framed, some not.
I think this is “Cats Eyes Cunningham and a Trident, what is the other?

Rapides?

Robin, but what is the glider?
Sorry on some of the glazed ones it fooled my camera autofocus and the light was coming in the window

No idea as to these

Wilga and what gliders?

Devon?

Another Rapide?

Don’t know

Pipers? what ones?

Don’t know

Austers?

Chippy and what glider?

Don’t know

Piper cub

Tiger and Ddh60, this one is a print

Additionaly she has quite a few of her late fathers books ( Aviation) and also about 13-15 large A4 thick catalogued photo albums, they contain the likes of Cessnas through to Pipers. etc, but one was full of early Boeings and DC6’s etc She would like them to go as a set together. Additionally there were some rolled up in a tube prints, one was a Dhavilland one and a couple of limited addition lanc ones…… If wanted they could be viewed ( Leicester area) and I can put you in contact, The Artist worked professionally and did most of the Corgi toy box art work, and I think he is very very good, will link the lady to this page, hope it is ok to post these.

Gliders:
HQV is an SZD-51-1 Junior, other glider in same pic is probably a Junior too, as is the one in the Robin painting
HAS is an SZD-50-3 Puchacz

The single seater glider is an SZD-51 Junior I think, cheaper alternative to Schliecher’s ASK-23.

The US Army (as opposed to the USAAF) Piper is a L-4J Grasshopper.
I read the serial as 44-80836, which is a correct serial.
I’m sure some here can tell you more based on the unit code. I do see a 101st Airborne Division crest on the cowl.

AFNI is a Moth Minor.
ADUG/ACWG are DH-86s (four engines).
ACGR pix is a Percival Gull (#17) next is a G-__ __ YA is a Puss Moth and the last one is a Comper Swift.
ADDI is a Dragon, not a Dragon Rapide.
APZX is a PA-20 Pacer and ARNJ is a Piper PA-22-108 Colt (no back window or door or it would be a Tri-pacer).
AAPZ is a Desouter (SP) and AAIN is a Parnall Elf both now at Shuttleworth.
AJOT is a Dove
Now let he spelling police corrections begin.
