Just been outside and heard jet engines, looked over the fence and saw two jets heading north (ish) about a mile to the east of St Ives. First one looked Meteor shaped, not so sure about the second one but it was shorter and tucked in quite close so I’m presuming Vampire? Passed me about ten minutes ago.
Anyone know which ones, where from (I’m guessing Bournemouth?) and where to…?

The Meteor and Vampire are due to display at RAF Marham today for 13sqd 90th anniversary but I am not sure if the are operating from Coventry or Bournemouth at the moment due to crewing reasons.

If they were a Vamp and Meteor,it sounds very much like the pair,G-HELV and G-LOSM, operated by Air Atlantique out of Coventry (they moved from Bournemouth around 18 months ago).
