Government can purchase spares for F-16 from US : Mateen uddin – ISLAMABAD, Jun 18: Former Director General, Institute of Strategic Studies, Lt. Gen.(r) Kamal Mateenuddin has said after acquiring the status of Non-NATO US ally there will be no obstacle for Pakistan in purchasing spare parts of F-16 and other aircraft acquired from the US. “I think the first advantage is, it is almost close to Defence Agreement”, Mateenuddin told BBC Radio.
