Palm Springs Air Museum

Does anyone out there know the identity of the anonymous Grumman Goose in the Palm Springs Air Museum please?

I’m curious about the picture of the polished bare metal P-51 that’s parked outside. Did you happen to write down a civil registration for it?

Thanks, Dennis

Based on the information in Warbirds Directory #4 I would guess it is 45-11558 N514DK

Dennis,

I didn’t note it down at the time, but I’ll have a look at the other photo’s I took of it, and see if it is visible anywhere.
I’ll keep you posted.

Good shots from a very nice collection. Last time I was there on a day in late May a few years back, it was very, very hot outside too.
