Just a question guys, in one of my usual spotting day here in SCQ, a strange plane landed and I don´t have any information about it. It was an old B737-200 in European Air Charter colours but with a big….”Palmair” on a side. Any information about this airline. It was coming from Bristol.

I saw a Palmair 732 in October when I was disembarking my ZB A321 in ALC. There are also photos of it more recently in the Airliners.net database.

Palmair are based at Bournmouth (I think)They used to fly BAE 146’S under a group called Flightline but now operate Boeing 737-200’S.Destinations include Majorca,Faro,Teneriefe,Malaga and many more. Some flights go via Jersey.I was lucky enougth to travel with them in 1997 on a BAE 146, excellent service and quite good food.Just found out that they were founded in 1957 by Peter Bath of Bath travel who operate Palmair and have 14 weekly flights from Bournmouth and employ 22 cabin crew and carries around 50,000 passenengers a year

They are still operating. They used to fly the Bae 146, but now the 732 is the standard operating aircraft. Thet are still flying as I saw this very 737 earlier this month departing from BHX.
