They are turning everything into hotels these days, unessasary really, first Qe2, then this, whats next??

Altohugh it is very different, maybe they could keep it an aircraft and become a ‘flying hostel’

I have shared cockpits on Boeings where the pilot was asleep and I was a passenger sat in the jump seat. Quite common on long haul when autopilot was on. 3 crew operation in those days .

i think he means when its on the ground(unless theres a spare seat(how stupid(no offense)))

If it’s a hotel then it ain’t gonna be in the air is it. My point was sarcastic in the meaning somebody books a night in this 747 hotel – on the ground – and pays a premium price to stay in the cockpit and would want to sleep. If that was me I would be in the left seat all night using a bit of imagination – just for fun, there would be no way I could sleep.:o

Pan am are Famous because of flight 103

I thought PanAm were famous because they were one of the world’s longest standing and most respected airlines, who unfortunately, following on from very tragic circumstances, succombed to various business and external problems.

(how stupid(no offense))

It isn’t really the done thing to describe another forum member’s opinions as stupid, especially if you don’t mean to cause offence.

Apologies maybe, I was sure I had seen a headline that she was booed at a reception for her new film ‘Australia’, but cannot find a headline now. The film did get mixed reviews.

Most of the reviews i’ve read say it’s absolute jingoistic crap
