Good evening all,
I had a great day today along with Andy Blair (JP XN549) at Aeroventure, Doncaster. I have to say that Bill and the team make you feel very welcome so big thanks to them.
I had not seen my Tonka baby in 6 months and it needed topping up with the equipment I have been collecting over the year. So the stick top went in, the old style not HOTAS which is correct for the F.2, the pilots repeater screen in place of the moving map which is for the GR variant plus various flying instruments.
There are still some ‘space fillers’ in there but I want it to be presentable. The pilots seat is now fixed in and thanks to Mark W I have a PSP so for the next open cockpit weekend (25th & 26th May) people can once again sit in and enjoy.
There is a picture below but before that I just want to acknowledge Nigel and the team who have worked on Sea King HAS.6 XV677 plus a big thanks for letting us go in and examine the fantastic re-build. I had not realised the full story until today, if there are other people I should have mentioned I apologise.
As always I am after any Tornado part, reference, pictures….. I still have my strict no sell policy in place so any donations will not be sold on.

Nice work Pully, though allow me to post a picture showing the progress you have made on the exterior.

Hi there Pully113,
Couldn’t you afford a real aeroplane cockpit?:D
Right, I’d better go and hide somewhere!
