A friend who runs a recycling company found this in one of his skips today.
Any ideas or suggestions please.

A couple more clues ….
It seems to have been templated off a standard RAF type panel like the one below but not modified from one since there are holes filled-in as well as created.
It is probably not Norwegian (Upp not Opp).
I can’t be sure of the markings on the ASI – does the needle go round twice or only once? Anyway the max speed will give an indication of what kind of aircraft it came off.

Danish/Swedish/Norwegian in origin
That struck me at first, So, are we looking at a Scandinavian aircraft like a SAAB. Or an A/C that has been aquired for use by a Scandinavian operator? But either way a strange find in anEnglish skip none the less:)

VSI is metric and appears to be Danish/Swedish/Norwegian in origin judging by the “Upp/Ned” (up, down) markings.
I say this only as a semi-fluent Swedish speaker so I could be wrong.
