I read with sadness on another forum that the old hangers have all been torn down by the airfield owners as they push to try and turn it into housing but a relation went past on a coach trip yesterday and say they saw about 3 aircraft still at the site, anyone know anything about them?………Martin

Looked over fence couple of hours ago, definitely no aircraft – site looks as it does in Urbex post but hangars gone. Misidentification, surely

Not a sign of a plane there, I think there would have been a photo of one, if it was there!

I’m thinking your relation may have misidentified the airfield, it’s difficult to see anything from the lane that runs past the former entrance
