I drove down to Paris to take advantage of the nice weather we have been having.
Here is a sample of what can be seen at Orly with easterly winds.
The runway shots are at a municipal park accross the runway, this park is open from 9.30 in the morning
The next day in the landing from 7.30 till 9.15
Orly is the homebase of CorseAir and Air Caraibes. Air France also have a number of B773 and A343’s here.
Next to Easyjet and Vueling you can also expect RAM, Tunisair, Air Algerie, TAP, Alitalia and Iberia.
Air Asia X flies 4 times a week during the summer, arriving around 09.00 and leaving again at 10.30.

Great shots. I have a photo pass for CDG so if it’s this good at Orly it’s well worth a trip. I remember the old terrace behind glass where the sun is on wrong side. I assume this park is on opposite side of the field ?

Thanks for posting, my fave has to be the two A340’s especially the Raiders example. The A340 is the only Airbus worth photographing IMHO

What a fantastic selection. I always preferred ORY to CDG but wasn’t aware you get could get such excellents shots there.
Thanks for posting these.
