Part identification 5U/1517

Hi folks,

This is the last item in the box of goodies I purchased t’other day.

Is anyone able to identify it for me? I believe 5U is a stores reference for generator parts? Various numbers include 5U/1517, 5U/1519 and 5U/1575.
