During my research last year, I have found a crash location north of Kiel. The farmer of the field gave my a part of the aircraft. He found this part during the work on his field. On this location I found a lot of smaller and bigger broken parts.
The measure of the big part (aluminium) are zirka 20 x 20 x 20cm.
The diameter of the other part (bronze) are zirka 13cm
Maybe someone can identify this parts, and tell me the type of a/c ??
Thanks

Thanks for your posting and your help!
Here are a lot of numers of some aluminium parts of this a/c:
…115 50
1Z293 or. 1Z283, and A31B (in a circle)
1Z925
MCLO 7 (in a circle)
SEL14 (in a circle)
83D16
On the cooler-part (bronze): CPB D16986/1
On a aluminium part of broken pump: 37FCX79541/1
On a round aluminium cover (fuell-filter?): 39P1888 and: NIM16 (in a circle)
maybe you can help to identify the type with this numbers?

I agree wth Colin.
The first item looks like a Merlin engine rear mount. The black painted part is from the crankcase and the rusty bits are parts from the engine mount frame assembly. Can’t help with an aircraft identity though.
I’m not familiar with Merlin internal bits, but my guess would be coolant pump impeller. A coolant pump was had a centrifugal impeller and is about this size. This would also explain the bronze material.
Hope this helps.

Some neat parts you have there…
The first 4 piccies are from the lifting mount casting on the side of the merlin. The two bolts that you see in the pics are the rear mounting points for the merlin engine to it’s subframe. The next two pics are of what remains of a merlin coolant pump. You can see the remains of the impellor.
