Partners sign 10-year pact on US 101 helicopter

From Jane’s defence Weekly: A joint AgustaWestland/ Lockheed Martin bid to sell a derivative of the European EH 101 medium-lift transport helicopter to the US government has been significantly strengthened through the signature last month of a 10-year agreement under which the aircraft could undergo manufacture and support in the USA.

Is the EH-101 seriously being looked at by the US, or are they still hopeful on the V-22 series?
