On a crash location I found one little parts of aluminium.
It has a stemp with the number: 57953 C 37 A 17946 and the inspection stamp: 46B (in circle)
who can tell me, if this a part from a halifax aircraft ?
and who have a link to a website about serial numbers and stamps of aircraft parts for british aircrafts ?

today I was in a library and found a lot of picture from the crash of this a/c.
the letters “TL-P” are print. the a/c crashed on sep. 16. 1941 at 9.30 p.m. near Kiel
I hope to know, that is the L9505 serial, from 35th sqdrn.
you know more about it ?

57953 C 37 = 57 meaning Halifax, 953 = drawingnumber, C = fuselage structure, 37 = portside.
The stamp could be an inspectors stamp and being one personally used but not generally useful to determine the factory it was built. If you find a stamp with the letters EEP (meaning English Electric at Preston) then you know who built it.
Any more information on that wreck?
Hope this helps
Cheers

57 is the starting part of a Halifax part number, so yes
