Parts valuation

I have a Mk VII autopilot gyro in good general condition (Lancaster, Halifax, Stirling, Wellington etc.) and some Mk IX bombsight parts that I have been attempting to do a trade with. Would any forum members be prepared to put a value on these please? I’d be interested in an impartial view…

Cheers

Elliott, you could always bring them along and get them valued, or possibly trade with them here in the New Year http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/newsItem.php?id=58

Like all these things, they have a value to the right person. On the collectors market, I would see a value of £30-40 for the autopilot. For the bombsight parts, probably not an awful lot unless you have one to restore.

not particularly helpful…

perhaps they’re worth a mint, and air ministry wants to pick something up on the cheap… 😀

Almost completely worthless, imho, but I’d be interested in the bombsight bits for spares…!
