He’ll never replace Freddie Mercury, I don’t think much of him, I miss Freddy’s powerful voice!

But that would only give him the shell…not the core…
Belive me, Queen will sound much better when its singer actually knows what Rock is…imagine this MIKA singing Stone cold crazy or Now I’m here and you get the meaning.
Hey Golli just for you! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0f_SDQPpSwc 😀 See a makeover could work.

Yeah but this MIKA lacks the essential which is the balls of a proper rock n’ roll **** that Mercury certainly had…this MIKA is pahtetic chicklet compared to Freddy or Paul for that matter…
Perhaps we could give Mika a Mercury makeover.:p

Freddy’s most defining quality wasen’t that he was a puff…so why you guys keep insisting that the new guy in front of Queen should however first of all be one also? Comon…give gredit to Freddy that he was one hell of a rock singer, the new guy should have equal abilitites in that area, not in those other irrelevant issues…
Nobody is insisting that the new guy should be one, my view was that Mika has a similar style to Mr Mercury a good voice and is a great showman that captivates his audience.

I have had “Issues” with the remaining members of Queen carrying on since Freddie died and i still wish they would drop the Queen name.
Having said that i bought the Queen+Paul Rodgers “the cosmos rocks” and i have to say i really like it, It does not for the most part sound like Queen and really thats not a bad thing in my view, It is a good album that shows the talents of the whole band, and is well worth a listen, A good mix of rock and some more bluesy numbers.
Stand out tracks in my view are
1)Cosmos rockin’
2)Time to shine
3)Call me
4)Voodoo
5)We believe
So i would say give it a go Paul Rodgers is a very good front man and along with the 2 remaining members of Queen they create a good sound, Freddie is gone and won’t be replaced but Paul is a class act too.

The recordings are 38 years old – be your OWN Judge as to whether he’s “any good ?”
As someone who bought “Killer Queen”, “Now I’m Here” (45rpm’s) & “News of the World” & “Night at the Opera” (33rpm’s) etc when they were 1st released – I WISH they (Queen) would have called it “a day” in the ’90’s
Free & Bad Company to me were always in a different league, anyhow:cool::cool::cool:
