I am researching the PB4Y-1P and note that VP-61 photo-mapped French Indochina in the 1950-52 period. Does anyone have information on other postwar recon missions of the PB4Y-1P aircraft located in the Pacific? Were there incursions over Korea, China or the Soviet Union? Of course Privateer units were heavily involved in such incursions, but there is nothing to suggest that -1P’s conducted similar missions. Thank you for any information.
