Pearson rotary ailerons

Were the Pearson rotary ailerons, patented in the 1920s, fitted to any aeroplanes other than the Henderson-Glenny Gadflies and the Pickering-Pearson KP.2 and how did they perform in comparison to conventional ailerons (and in the case of the KP.2, conventional ailerons and rudder)?

You’ve had a busy afternoon, baz, acting as my personal search engine. Thank you for doing so. I was aware of the ‘Flight’ article but not the reports in the National Archives. So there’s another one to add to my list for Kew when I make my next trip to the UK!
