I recently obtained this Engine Limitations data plate from an unknown aircraft. The seller suggested it might have belonged to a Wellington. Although I suppose the Hampden or Sunderland could be other contenders?
The take off limit is given as “2600 RPM”. This might indicate a similar propeller as discussed in my ealier posting when Forum members provided me with a positive ID for a Merlin III example belonging to a Fairey Battle.
Again I would like to ask Forum members if they would try to help me positively identify which aircraft this new example may have originally been fitted into?
Does anyone have a similar plate for comparison?
The take off RPM limit is given as “2600 RPM” and the plate has the following part number: FB.90535
Kind regards, Malcolm.
