Evenin’ all,
Recently researching the Percival Pembroke, I realised I’d not seen a listing of survivors… How many are there out there?
Quite widely used (including by drug runners in the US?!) by the RAF Belgian AF and the Germans… and the civil version (the President) had a few – a 1/2 doz built – any survivors of these?
I saw the Dixon’s G-BNPH (WV740) at both Biggin Hill and the last Duxford show, and there’s a Belgian machine in the Belgian air museum.
What else, and where?
I’m particularly looking for interior pics as well..

SE-BKH, ex XK 884, is owned and operated by Flygexpo. It is based at Västerås/Hässlö but is currently parked at Eskilstuna/Kjula.
SE-BKH is painted as “Helge 87” – a Tp 83 Pembroke operated by the transport squadron of F 8 Wing at Barkarby in the early 1970s.

Belgian Pembrokes
With interest I have read this topic about the Pembrokes. Especially about the Belgian ones residing in the US.
Since I started my new website about wrecks and relics of the Belgian military aviation, I did off course a lot of internet-research about all covered aircraft.
So I arrived also at this very informative forum and have made some very fine contacts with specialists in the Pembroke field (Sean Keating, Tom Singfield, …)
But I few other posters I could not reach who provided in this topic very rare and excellent photographs.

Does the ex RAF aircraft still fly in Sweden?

SE-BKH, ex XK 884, is owned and operated by Flygexpo. It is based at Västerås/Hässlö but is currently parked at Eskilstuna/Kjula.

This ex-Belgian Pembroke saw service in the Republic of Honduras, with Compañia Interamericana de Aviacion (also Compañia Interamericana de Honduras), and bore the registration HR-ITA.
The second shot shows the same airplane, now at the Anoka Airport in Blaine, Minnessota, in February 2000.
Of interest, this Pembroke was used to fly a spare propeller and engine for an F4U Corsair that made a forced landing in Belize, when it was being flown back to the USA in the 1980s.
Both photos were shot by me.
The third image, shows an ad published locally in Honduras.

Sea Prince WP321 (ex N7SY) is now G-BRFC and owned by Andrew Dixon, owner of Pembroke G-BNPH.
There is talk that she will fly again and both of her engines have been run in recent months.

Pembroke PR-2 is at Aviation Museum of Central Finland. The Gauntlet uses engine from this aeroplane.

BXES is awaiting some engineering work however the public transport fleet has priority at the moment. She should be flying again in a month or so.

There used to be two at Coventry. Atlantique still retain G-BXES, G-BNPH was sold and retains a valid CofA. Haven’t seen BXES fly for ages though.

A friend of mine is soon (hopefully!) to publish a book on the Prince/Pembroke series of aircraft. He has been following/researching them for 30 years! I’ll let everyone know when the book is published.

Found these while going through my old photos. Seems there are two examples at Hermeskeil (no better photo of the second aircraft I’m afraid). The third one is the aircraft at Brussels which James already posted a photo of.

But RM-1/N51973 was a C.51 with solid nose and the one in NJ is a C(PR)51 with a glass camera nose :confused:
