Percival Pembroke airborne

Just saw it leaving Hurn, heading off in a South Westerly direction.

Anyone know where it’s going?

Agreed. Would be nice but all in good time.

Thanks for that Pembroke C1. Hope the problem with the port engine is rectified and we can all look forward to seeing her fly

Was indeed G-BNPH on its monthly “warm-up” flight. Found a long time ago that it is cheaper and more fun to fly it each month through the winter than put it in a hangar and then spend the spring trying to fix all the snags that six months inactivity brings.

As to WP321 slow progress is being made. The project had a set-back when it was found that despite running well the port engine needs some fairly major surgery before it can be cleared for flight. This is ongoing as we speak, otherwise the aircraft is in pretty good shape.

Presumably this would be G-BNPH which is owned by a local resident. Maybe this was the spring air test prior to a display season?

Morning gents

Reading this made me think about the Sea Prince WP321, which was reported as being brought back to airworthy condition. What progress been made on this project?

Cheers

Hunty 😎
