I noticed this at RIAT, and have been wondering who owns it. I’m not a great one for remebering Reg’s so it maybe that its Atlantiques repainted in the red scheme.

I know that shuttleworth have a Prentice in rebuild, its on the left as you walk to the end of the workshop, but I thought that they had aquired another at the same time as the Hunting Percival Provost in airworthy condition so as to fill the gap until their rebuild was ready.Perhaps I am dreaming – again .

A recent piccy I saw of the Shuttleworth example shows it under very comprehensive restoration. The fuselage has been fully stripped, the wings have been removed, deskinned and are on the workbenches, and the undercarriege is stored in various bits against the wall.Looks like one hell of a job they’ve got there-a few years atleast by the looks.

The Shuttleworth machine wasn’t by any means airworthy the last time I saw her. She is undergoing a major rebuild. The is a machine airworthy at Southend although she has been for sale for a while.

She has been owned for a number of years by Susan. I don’t know if she still works for Cobby Moore.

A peek on G-INFO reveals that the Prentice is privately owned and registered to a Mrs. Susan J. Saggers, who gives her address as a hangar at Biggin Hill.
