Hi All,
This afternoon myself and fellow photographer Tom Gautier spent the afternoon at Tom’s local of EMA. The weather was absolutely stunning and made it a very pleasant two and a half hours stay!
All images taken with either a Canon 350D + EF-S 18-55 or 30D + EF 70-200L.

Glowstick Boy!
Great photos Paul, and great weather! I’m surprised you saw so much in 2 and 1/2 hours – EMA must have got a lot busier in recently!
Did you need a step ladder to get over the fence for these?
Adam
Hi Adam,
A ladder isn’t really needed at this spot although it would make getting certain angles a little easier!
Thankyou for your kind words, all! 🙂

Good stuff mate, whats that phallic looking object in the last shot? Looks like your pointing at the stricken Cessna with it??
Looks like a fence post to me.
As always, excellent shots Paul! My current slow download speeds meant that IE gave up trying to load all of them, but the two thirds of the photos that loaded were truly exceptional! I’ll have to get up to EMA soon to make use of this spot.
Thanks,
Dan.

And finally, this Cessna 152 had what can only be described as an ‘interesting’ landing. After what seemed a very steep approach, on contact with the runway it bounced violently several times between its main and nose gear. Several aircraft went round and an Easyjet A319 held on the ground for a while until it was pushed, by hand, off the runway.

And that’s it! We’re off to LHR tomorrow to meet up with the legendary Ben Rowley (of G-MOOO fame… DJ will understand!) for a weekend of shooting and… Err… Drinking! A LHR thread shall follow shortly!
Thanks for looking!
Paul
