Personal Thanx to Historic Aircraft Operators

On this forum we often lose the thread and forget how grateful we should be that there are organisations and individuals that keep these beautiful warbirds up in the air.

With Legends looming I cannot wait. There are so many people who make it the world class event it is and I would like to thank them all.

In the UK, we are so lucky to have such diverse and wonderful warbird operators and operators not least the BBMF, TFC, OFMC, ARCO, HFL, RNHF, Shuttleworth, HAC as well as the countless operators who really have infectious enthusiasm…..Maurice Hammond particularly. One word fantastic!

Thanx one and all

TonyD

PS I have been sorting my old airshow photos dating back to 1982….a good way to prepare for legends!

Totally agree, think we are all guilty of forgetting of who keeps them all flying.

Yes well done to you all.

From other posts it sounds like most of TFC were in all weekend. Thank you for putting in that time, so we can enjoy ourselves next weekend, it really is appreciated.

And thanks also to all those who spend all year working on them to keep them flying.

Well done everybody.
