Yep I agree with that first Reds pic. Also think the Typhoon is spot on and to get Jonathon and Miss D as you did was superb. Biggin can be very difficult with the angle of the light.
What spec lens were you using just as a matter of interest?

All shots were on a D2x with a 70-200 Af-S/Vr I, with a 1,7x teleconvertor on it
