I just discovered via Facebook that my friend Pete West passed away on the afternoon of the 16th of May 2016. He was an Englishman living here in New Zealand. I’m sure some of you will be aware of his excellent aeroplane profile artworks. He used to be known as “oneleggedpom” online.

So sorry to hear the sad news.
I found out from one of my ex Aerospace colleagues who is from NZ. He did several of the 3/4 views that were in the Warplane partwork in the 1980s and then did some work for Key. I think (but can’t remember) he did some more work for Aerospace during my second innings there.
Met him at least once.
