Peter Vacher Hurricane at White Waltham today

I just called in briefly on the way home from work this afternoon and saw Peter and Polly Vacher at White Waltham with the Hurricane R4118/G-HUPW and PA28 G-FRGN.

It was great to see and hear this fantastic Hurricane and did a couple of circuits before departure.

Thank you very much.

Sorry for any loss in quality downsized to 800 wide.

Neil

I arrived at White Waltham at about 1345 and the Hurricane was already there. It departed for a couple of circuits at about 1415 and departed shortly after.

Nice pictures of yours too Neil. Well done

Great pictures of the Hurri. Just to drag this thread back on topic any idea who the pilot? Seem to remember reading somewhere (might have been the competition actually!) that Polly Vacher might be learning to fly it.

Have a great idea for an airshow double act if so – how about an all female Hurri / Spit duo with Carolyn in ML407 and Polly in the Hurri?

Someone posted it on another forum in response to another one of your lazy requests for easily available information that you can’t be arsed to look for yourself.

I’m shocked that you’ve forgotten the event already.

Id forgotten that image was there. I will add it to my desktop and send it to a few mates. Some of them need it more than me.

Ollie, if you listen carefully, you’ll hear a sound.

It’s the sound of patience ebbing away.

All of what i can hear now, is the radio and me going ‘doh’ how stupid of me. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Totaly off topic but where did you find that artwork Robbo? I need it as my desktop i think.
