Very rare, 15 made. The poster in the window is a `for sale` sign. I think it was about 4 grand.

I like the series 1, but the series 2 seems to ‘fit’ me better. That’s why I’m going to do the series 2 to my own spec. Make it into a 1/2 hybrid, with a more modern Jaguar engine, purely for the fun of the build.

I wouldn’t dare do it to the series 1, as it’s too original. I got it’s birth certificate back from Jaguar, and all the numbers are original… engine, gearbox, axle, the lot.

Cheers mate!

I don’t need a leaper to be honest though, they only ever were aftermarket on the XJ6’s, and I have a few going spare myself. There’s more of them kicking about than there are cars!

This is my current daily runabout. I saved it from being banger raced, and put it back on the road. I’ve done 2000 miles in three weeks, and it’s only had a minor hissy fit about it. It’s shortly going to be doing another 1200 or so talking me and a few friends to Le Mans.

This is a staged shot and it wasn’t broken (honest)

These are the other toys.. XJS is a runner but needs attention, the yellow thing is shortly to become British Racing Green and supercharged.

Just found an old photo of my v8 Dutton, sorry its a bit dark.
As i`m almost 6ft 4 i had to remove the bolsters from the Corbeau bucket seat so i could fit. Then had to cut down all the pedals so my feet could work them without fouling the adjacent one.
Oh happy days.

In fairness, if I had the time and money I’d love one. It’s one of those cars that’s always caught my attention. There’s a bright orange one where I live, sadly it seems to be mostly driven/abused by a chav 🙁
