My local flying club, Pilot Flight Training at Oxford (Kidlington), has organised an open day/families day for this Sunday (26th) and they’re also having a bit of a fly-in.
They’re offering free landings to the first ten aircraft – but weekend landing fees at Kidlington are just £5 now anyway.
You need to call Oxford Ops on 01865 844267 for PPR (tell them you’re visiting “PFT”) and it’d be appreciated if you could also call Pilot Flight Training on 01865 370814 to let us know you’re coming.
Anyone like to join us?

G-ARHP was at Old Buck, Glad you had the sun.
Glad I didn’t go, judging by the weather. Vey hot and sunny in Derby though!

Hi Janie,
Glad you could make it at short notice – only sorry I didn’t have more time to talk. Hope the flight to Leicester was good and the noise ‘amelioration’ procedures weren’t too complex!
When I next see Seagull I’ll ask him about the competition and find out who won!
Thanks again, see you soon
Steve

I would just like to say a very big public “Thank you” to 😎 Steve Bridgewater 😎 , who not only personally invited me to the Fly In, but marshalled me, fed and watered me. The level of good hospitatlity at Oxford was quite obscene!
Seagull: That competition was rather good. Did I win? 😀 😀
So where did everybody else go? The weather was gorgeous.

Hi Blue Robin,
I’m not sure, Tom has sold PFT Oxford now, but he still pops in every now and again. he may put in an appearance on Sunday.
