I wonder if anyone can list me what Phantom’s had the colour tails and codes and what years.
I have examples like XV420 which had the red tail of 56 Sqn and XV470 56 Sqn
what others 19,56,74,92 sqns
Can anyone list them and have photo’s
Yep its a quizz to have to sit down and search but iam so lost with my research on them.

I have
XT899 was with 19sqn as B ended it’s days with 19
XT905 was with 74sqn as P ended it’s days with 74
XV408 was with 92sqn as Z ended it’s days with 56 after 92 so it lost its code Z
Any others ??

228OCU had 4 with blue tails in 1990,CO XT900,CD XV425,CJ ,CG.I cant recall J and G

CG was XV490 and i think CJ was XT895

The later years saw 56 & 74 have ALL aircraft with coloured tails so expect a large list…. I’ll have to dig my bumf out 😉
