Does any one know what happened to XT595 – I recall it being in the corner of the hanger whilst i was at Conningsby painted in grey and grey with Low viz roundels- then it was apparently taken to St Athan but the nose was saved- i can find no pictures of the nose which seems to indicate it was scrapped?
Also FG1 XT858 was the winner of the Transatlantic air race but was apparently scrapped at an obscure location- any one have any info

XT852 – the prototype Phantom FGR2 currently situated at West Freugh, is due to have a rendezvous with the scrap man’s torch imminently.

Resurecting this thread, I have had a report that XT852 (along with the Argosy XN817) are no longer sat in the palce they have occupied for the past several years. I can only assume the axe has fallen 🙁
