The monthly visits allow for public access -details on the museum website.
It has been out for open days -access ladders would help a great deal!

Has anyone been to photograph the Phantom at Wattisham? Do they pull the aircraft out of the HAS on open days? It’d look awesome parked outside the shelter, with canopies up.. 🙂

That’ll be St Louis then… 🙂

I was born in a maternity hospital but that’s not “home”. 🙂

I do ! She is happily tucked up for winter in the HAS site. Various bits of ground equipment are being sought for her -i.e access ladders .

Morning Oxcart
It wasn’t the same as it left St.Louis when it was at Leeming but we had blathered it in px32 (waxoyl equivalent) over all joints screwheads etc. which we then had to sand scrape off prior to the re-paint.We also used to tow them back and forth (we had four) to keep the tyres reasonable.
Glad she has found someone to look after her
Regards
Jon

Any chance of a link to some of them? I know one of the chaps involved in unloading.
