Looks perfect to me, both times! Do we need a new topic on these lines? 😀

Well, what you have doen looks fine. It just seems that this link

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b218/steverow50/photo_hamburger.jpg

Doesn’t point to anything.

Very odd

If you go into your ‘Account Options’ you have clicked ‘make public’ haven’t you?

I don’t know if that makes a difference, I don’t have the same familarity with photobucket that others do, but it might be worth a go.

Hi Steve, The Canberra picture here, post 3 was made using Moggy’s method. The photo was transferred into my Picasa file and as it was too large to reproduce here, I tranferred it to Photobucket and then copied it to the post. As you can see, it is not a thumbnail, I guess I could have reduced it again using Photobucket. As you can see from your posts, your images seem to have disappeared somewhere within Photobucket, so maybe start from the beginning, put a photo into P.B. and try and move it! 🙂

I’m doing exactly that, the pics are showing up at my end but not when others try to view them…..perplexed?????????????

Post one here anyway and I’ll take a look.

Steve.

Beneath your image on photobucket are three URLs in little boxes

Clicking on the bottom one of the three turns it blue

Right click on it and select ‘copy’

go to your post

Right click in it ‘paste’

Nothing else to do

Bob = Uncle

As you can see my test works.

If not it is probably that your image is too large to be posted here. Reduce it in size. 800 pixels wide at 72 ppi and around 100kb works really well.

Photobucket re-sizes any images that you upload if they’re over 1Mb.

512Kb actually

Go to your picture, left click, properties, copy the address.

Now remove the star from the tag below and paste the address of your photo on it.

Steve.

There is a really easy to follow tutorial posted as a sticky on the plane talk forum. It must be easy to follow because even I managed it.
