I was recently given a lot of photographs taken by my grandfather which date from 1914 through to the late 40’s and have come across three of a seaplane which I can’t identify.
I think that that they may have been taken at Mablethorpe or Skegness during the 1920’s and that it ‘might’ be a Avro 504 but biplanes are not my speciality.
Any clues?

Not much to add apart from that it is an Avro 504L.

Hi Tony,
It’s a 504 as you guessed, not uncommon after W.W.I for joyriding. Aeroplane M has covered them over the years in Personal Albums among others.
