Having just completed an article on the 38th TRS in USAFE, my next historical project is a history of the Photo Jets of the USAF from the end of WW2 to the end of the 1950s. This will include the F-80, RF-80, RF-84, RF-101, RF-86 and RF-100A. (and RT-33)
I’m on the look out for photos, information and contacts so if anyone can help I’d be obliged.
Just for general interest I’ve pasted some pics of photo jets.
The RT-33 was photographed at Don Muang, Thailand in 1961 while operating on Operation Field Goal
