It’s taking off at the end of the touchdown lines. There is still a lot of runway ahead but it looks like it’s the end because the runway is slightly running downhill.

OE-LAM Check out this spectacular landing…!!! That day, a very strong crosswind from North-West was blowing over Madrid-Barajas airport. Every crew were obliged to do their best to land the aircraft safely. In the picture, you can see how the pilot dips the wing into the wind enough to stop movement in relation to the runway and lines up the A330 with direction of flight by use of rudder.

Apparently, Funchal is a brilliant airport for spotting. There is a road right above the runway which is excellent for spotting. Experienced captains are needed here.
