Photo request: Victor B.2/K.2 1st Pilot control yoke

I’m trying to tidy up my Victor B.2 control yoke, and have a bit missing from the RT/IC switch block. Just wonder if anone has a good quality photo that shows a close up of the 1st Pilots yoke so I can determine what I have missing, and if I have the bit in my magic box of odd stuff.

Also if anyone has a spare centre cap for a Victor yoke, I’d be interested.

Many thanks.

These should help, the push button is indeed the autopilot cut out.

Hi Blue_2 and thanks for taking the time to answer my query.

The photo is a slight help, but my query relates to the IC/RT switch block on the LH horn of the yoke. Mine has the centre missing on the top, and I have one marked up with A/P cutout which I’m pretty sure isn’t correct as the autopilot cutout is an ICO on the rear edge of the horn upright. Someone said that the ‘button’ on the top of the switch block was just a blank cover, but your photo appears to show a domed button rather than a blank cover…..

A close up of the switch block showing the text detail, plus one from above showing the domed cap in the centre of the switch would be a real help. If it IS a push button on the top, can you tell me what it is for?

Many thanks.

have a look on our xl231 thread, if there’s nowt on there pm me and I’ll photograph what you need this weekend. Iirc the HP centre caps were removed when Woodford got their sticky paws on them for the K2 conversion programme…
