Hi guys, I’m venturing across here from the historic forum, so be kind to me 🙂
I may need an image to illustrate a press release that will be mailed on behalf of one of my clients who supplies freight software to BA World Cargo.
Anyone who thinks they have a suitable imagem, could they post a low res here for me to have a look at.
Money (In small quantity) will be payable if used.
Parameters
1) Must be a relatively up to date image. No Avro Yorks.
2) It will need to reproduce well. The original should ideally be a Tiff, or large jpg (4mb or more) or a print from which a really good quality scan can be lifted.
3) Illustrates the movement of cargo (Shots in the air, or loading / unloading etc. No maintenance hangar shots) As creative as you like.
4) Here by the end of this week (April 2)
Nothing will be used without the premission of the photorapher. Please don’t post images unless you hold the copyright.

Thanks guys.
I’m already working through BA World Cargo PR Dept., but the talent on the forum is at such a high level I thought I’d let you all have a go.
No decision yet 🙂

This is all i have, taken from the Stansted airport control tower. Unfortunately, this was before I got my digi-cam and so it’s quite a bad quality scan. Probably not the standard you’re expecting but here it is……This isn’t the best scan btw, I may be abl to do a btter one if you needed it.

I often used to have to drop off television news tapes at the Glasgow, BA cargo centre for air courier to remote studios and centres in the far flung corners. They generally flew on one of these…

There’s a BA cargo centre at Glasgow Airport, unfortunately I was down there yesterday with the Canon 10D and found it almost impossible to get any shots thanks to the construction of the new Terminal 2.
I’ll ask some of my Prestwick friends if they’ve anything useful or you could try mailing Fred Seggie via his site www.saap.co.uk he shoots on a Canon D60.
I can supply you with large j-peg’s or shoot some RAW’s of BA planes operating out of GLA if you wish, the cargo activitity tends to be mainly of the mail and newspaper variety and on the Highlands and Islands routes.
