Not sure if this is the correct forum for this….anyway… I am busy sorting out flights for a wee jolly in Asia in July, and need any info on places to photograph from etc.. at the below airports, I’ve been to the major airports before, but, was over 10 years ago,so things will have no doubt changed.. anyway any help fully appreciated:
Planning to visit:
Bangkok, Yangon, Ko Samui, Phuket, Phnomh Penh, Manila, Hong Kong (new),Chang Mai, Cebu, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Brunei, Jakarta, Bali, Mudan, Darwin, Guangzhou, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Shenzen, Siem Reap, Sunhotai, Trat.
Any advice is a help, e.g. where NOT to visit, Some of the places are day return trips, so may not even leave the airport. For info, some of the fares are very good, using, Bangkok AW, Cebu Pacific,Air Asia, Jetstar,Tiger (BKK-Darwin £47 return, BKK-SIN £2 ,SIN-Macau £3 all including tax!!) The curious thing ive found is no LOCO flights from SIN-KUL!!! have to pay £120 single using SIA or MAS:mad:

Now i just need RYR or EZY to start flights to BKK before july and i’m laughing!!:D (anyone know of any good deals from UK to BKK,HKG or SIN??)

Yep OASiS HK would be the best for money. Although if Airasia start up before then, then maybe with them.
Also may i recomend CMB. It is great if you collect reg’s to but for photography theres not much other than mil movements and UL.(And occasionaly foreign movements)

Oasis Hong Kong LGW-HKG probably your best bet?
As for photo/spotting places at some of those airports – PM me and I’ll get you in contact with one of my mates who has been out there on a trip. I know he visited Jakarta and possibly others on your list.
