Sam,

As per my previous posts…..

The guy in the white overalls is probably servicing the toilet or potable water.

The pilot(guy in the middle) is inspecting the refuelling panel.

I thought Sam was wondering what the person in the ‘white’ overalls, was doing behind the wing.

The pilot is inspecting the refuelling panel.

Judging by the fact that he looks like he is inspecting the aircraft, and he is wearing a cap, I would also say he is the captain!!

That’s the skipper doing his walkround (the FO is visible in his seat). We need WD to find out what lies behing the mystery door!

Sam,

Re your question, what the person at the back of the picture 5 was doing – he was either servicing the toilet or the ‘potable’ water.

Both service panels are located on the lower right hand side of the fuselage, beside the wing-to-fuselage fairing.

The Skyrail only runs between the NEC and BHX, but the railway station is attached to the NEC so you only have a very short walk between the airport, railway station and NEC!

Another question on BHX:
Does the skyrail(or whatever it’s called) that runs every 2 mins(or there abouts I think)- so vague I know :p – stop at the NEC?

I wasn’t that impressed with the BHX viewing area within the airport in T1. I thought that the viewing areas outside of the airport were better and free, but saying that the aviation experience is good for its exhibits, like the old airline seats (are they from CO?)

(and yes, I would like to see Sir Bobby Robson lift a trophy with the Toon, but Valencia’ll be bloody difficult)

NO!! 😉

On a darker note, what’s with Celtic getting bounced from the UEFA cup? Very disappointing. I hope Newcastle takes it.

I agree 100%! Those blue engines look especially nice considering they are Pratts. 😎
