Post any photos you may have of aircraft flying from Boscombe Down, they can be airshow photos, old photos, new photos or even unusual photos.

When I took that photo Boscombe still had two Harvards but I can’t tell you which it is.
Anyway here are another couple of snaps of mine.

Here’s one of my snapshots taken during my time as an aerial delivery trials officer at Bosscombe.
Which Harvard is that, is it an old picture and possibly FT375?
I can remember as a teenager building an Airfix model of ‘375 in the early ’90s amd have loved the aircraft since!

I didn’t realise that was how Tucanos were delivered!
Cracking shots BTW.

Photos from Boscombe Down
Here are a few from IAT 1992… a cracking day in all respects… where do I start, where do I stop? Any requests to see particular aircraft now long gone?

I’ve found and scanned another of my trials snaps from 20 years ago. This could also be my entry in a ‘how low can you go’ thread.
Its a view of the Larkhill ranges from the open ramp of a Hercules – Note the tailplane (with down elevator!) and ducksbill in the top of the frame.
Just how low was it? well, are those yellow dots in the lower part of the frame Dandelions or buttercups? 😮
This sort of thing stopped (quite rightly) following the accident where a JATE Herc killed one of their own groundcrew in a low pass.
