At last I have got the photos on the computer so I can finally share them with you all. I decided to start a new thread dedicated to them. 🙂

Great photos, I like the touchdown one! That is part of the fun of travelling in a prop – you see the landing gear doing its stuff 😀

It is slightly amusing to see the looks on peoples faces when they have sat down in their seat and done everything as you are supposed to, fastening the seatbelt included, and then being asked to take it off again by the cabin crew!

I now exactly what you mean! 😀

Very nice shots there, I especially like the Dash 8 because you can see the wheels touching the ground.
Disoncerting for most people but incredible for us 😀

As for setabelts and refuelling I think it is a legal requirement for seatbelts to be OFF when the plane is refuelling, and can only be switched on when the refuelling has stopped.

This is the last 2.

1. Leith, Ocean Terminal and the boat on the left is the Royal Yacht Britannia. Sorry for the quality
2. A few of the cargo aircraft parked on the cargo ramp which extends down much furthur to the right of this photo, aircraft in view are both EDI based Flyglobespan 733QCs and a Benair Let410 which is at EDI everynight, it had landed just before us, again sorry for the quality.

Now onto the pics from BHX-EDI, the quality of these are somewhat worse becuase it was getting dark outside.

1. Taken from the Excellent Aviation Experience at BHX
2. Sitting at the gate waiting to go, they were refuelling our aircraft at this point so the pilot requested that we left our seatbelts off. 😮
3. Shortly after take-off
4. Sunset at 22 000 ft.
5. Over the Firth of Forth looking towards the gloom of Edinburgh

1. Our aircraft on the ground at BHX, and putting a face to the name! 😎
2. Why am I posting a pic of a car?? Look at the steering wheel, it’s an aircraft yoke! 😀
3. VS’s new upper class suite, and yes I can confirm it was very comfortable, I would have no trouble sitting out a long haul flight in one of those! 🙂

Ok, here we go with the first lot! 😀

1. Ingliston and the now famous pink gorilla on take-off. 😉
2. Usual morning rush hour traffic jam on the M8, so nice to fly over it knowing your miles away from it soaring into the skies! 🙂 ‘M8 Slog’ 😉
3. Cruising at 19000, prop and another aircraft crossing our path, trailing.
4. Starting our dessent and looking rather gloomy.
5. Golf course on the outskirts of Birmingham
